Add Image on Reel Online
Need to add image on reel after Instagram moved advanced overlays into a separate flow? In Reels Editor upload your MP4 or MOV, add one or more photos from the Images tab, place each overlay on the timeline (part of the clip or full duration), open Edit image for position, scale, and borders, choose keep / lower / mute audio, then download MP4. Everything runs locally in your browser — no upload, no account.
How to use this tool
- Open Add Image on Reel and upload your MP4 or MOV video.
- In the Images tab, add one or more overlays (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF).
- On the timeline, drag each image segment — or set start/end times / full duration.
- Tap Edit image to set position on the 9-point grid, scale, and optional border (style, color, radius).
- In the Audio tab, keep, lower, or mute the soundtrack, then download your MP4.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I add more than one image on a reel?
- Yes. Upload multiple photos from the Images tab and place each one on its own timeline segment. Images can overlap in time or appear one after another.
- Can the image show only for part of the video?
- Yes. Drag the segment handles or enter start/end times. Use “Use full video duration” when you want the image for the entire clip.
- Can I add a border around the overlay image?
- Yes. Open Edit image → Border to set style, thickness, color, and corner radius, or remove the border.
- Can I download with or without audio?
- Yes. In the Audio tab choose Keep original volume, Lower volume, or Mute, then download the MP4.
- Is add image on reel private?
- Yes. Processing stays in your browser. Your video and images are not uploaded to a server for editing.
